PressMains-9.jpg

At Gallowslaw Certified Location, we take pride in offering a unique caravan and camping experience that captures the essence of rural living, at an affordable price. Our mission is to provide guests with unforgettable stays, blending nature's beauty with modern comforts and facilities.

We have 5 pitches, all hard standing surrounded by grass, at our Caravan Club Certified Location. There are 16 amp electricity hook-ups with each pitch, mains drinking water & on-site waste disposal.

Access to the site is via a hard tack, which, although bumpy in places, is easily accessed by standard towing vehicles. Our sight is slightly sloping, so you may need ramps or blocks for motorhomes.

Frequently asked questions

How many pitches do you have?

We have five hardstanding pitches at Gallowslaw. There is a slight slope to the sight, therefore if you have a motorhome you may wish to bring blocks. All the pitches are linked by an internal road.

What facilities do you provide on site?

The site is basic, which is reflected in the pitch fee. Whilst we have a maintenance team, the site is mainly unmanned. There is a 16amp electric hook-up available for every pitch. There is mains drinking water available and on-site waste disposal. There is a lawn area opposite the pitches, with a picnic bench available in the spring & summer months.

Do you charge extra for awnings?

No, we don't charge extra for awnings.

Is your site dog friendly?

Yes, we welcome dogs to the site. Guests are welcome to walk round the farm, for which a map is provided in the welcome pack. We do have sheep and other livestock in the area so we do ask they are kept on a lead. We please ask that you remove any dog waste.

Where is the nearest shop/pub?

There is a shop available in the local village of Reston, which is approximately 1 mile from the site. The village of Coldingham has a shop, two pubs and a fish & chip shop. Further facilities can be found in the towns of Eyemouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed.

How far are you from the beach?

The site is approximately 3 miles from the beach, with the nearest beach being Coldingham Bay. Eyemouth, Burnmouth, and St Abbs Head Nature Reserve are also within easy reach.
